I wanted to make a lamp in the shape of a cloud, and I was inspired by these slotting together lamps.
Concept sketches: Slotted together spheres all in a bunch, some lighted and some not.
First design for the lamp didn't work, because when putting a middle hole for the light bulb, some of the pieces would no longer be attached.
Second design has half circles slotting into whole circles, solving the problem.
One sheet of cardboard makes one 7 inch diameter sphere.
